About the Teacher

While I am an audiologist by profession, I always been interested in advancing my Jewish/Hebrew skills.  When my kids started at the Day School many years ago, my Hebrew skills were very weak, but my Hebrew fluency improved over the years as I helped my kids with their Hebrew/Jewish studies.  I was actively involved in teaching my kids all of Shacharit, including Birchot haShachar and Pseudei d’Zimra, and also Mussaf for their Bar Mitzvahs, as well as helping them learn how to chant their Torah and Haftorah portions.  My older son chants Torah and Haftorah on a regular basis at his congregation and he also leads services so the skills that he learned when he was young continue to be used and expanded.
